Founder & CEO

Micah Shaw founded SemperKite Quantum Labs to advance practical software infrastructure for quantum optimization, scientific computing, and hybrid quantum-classical research.

Micah is a published quantum computing researcher and has worked with advanced computational and quantum research groups. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Southern California, where his work focused on quantum computing.

His research and software work center on Hamiltonian engineering, QUBO systems, hybrid quantum-classical workflows, and scientific computing infrastructure. Through SemperKite, he is building tools that help translate theoretical quantum methods into usable systems for research, optimization, and computational discovery.
